    mhb video screenshotThe Saint Louis MHB Board of Trustees, after completing an extensive search selected Cassandra Kaufman as MHB’s Executive Director, effective July 1, 2021.  She becomes the third MHB Executive Director, succeeding Jama Dodson who retired following nine years of outstanding leadership and service.

  • Community Children’s Services Fund

    Through the Community Children’s Services Fund (CCSF), MHB has been funding early childhood programs and services, such as onsite mental health therapists, home visiting programs, and parenting group prevention programming since 2006.
  • Community Mental Health Fund

    In FY2021, MHB Trustees made a three-year $600,000 commitment to support the operational costs for a first of its kind regional sobering center.
  • Permanent Supportive Housing Initiative

    MHB surpassed a 10-year goal in FY21 investing by over $4 million through its Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Initiative. Established in 2011, this initiative has added 211 PSH units to St. Louis’ housing stock representing 21 housing projects and a total investment of $4,140,892 from the Community Mental Health Fund.

    The System of Care (SOC) St. Louis is a network of child serving systems, agencies, community organizations, and families focused on the well-being of children and youth with serious emotional conditions and their families. The work of SOC is carried out by the SOC Council, Network of Practice, and a 20 Member Parent Advisory Council.
  • Violence Prevention Commission

    In 2017, the Department of Justice (DOJ) released their Diagnostic Analysis for the City of St. Louis. It contained data-driven recommendations to address the City’s request for help after an increase in gun homicides.
