  Established in 1994, Saint Louis MHB is an independent government taxing authority administering two special property taxes: the Community Mental Health Fund and the Community Children’s Services Fund. Tax dollars are granted to non-profit organizations that provide high quality services that benefit City residents.

Dave Haasis

Clinical Partnership Director

Dave joined MHB as the Director of Clinical Partnerships in August of 2022. He has more than 20 years working as a social worker in the St. Louis area. Most of his career has been working in the Behavioral health field. He has had the opportunity to gain perspective on mental health issues from many different populations over the years through outreach and working as an individual therapist. In his last job he was the Integrated Health Manager and developed a team of Behavioral Heath Consultants, Community Health Workers and Crisis Workers that helped support individuals with Mental Health issues in a Primary Care Setting. Dave loves to help develop ideas that will make an impact on the individual and community. He has a Masters in Social Work from St. Louis University and a Masters in Business Administration from Webster University.
