  Established in 1994, Saint Louis MHB is an independent government taxing authority administering two special property taxes: the Community Mental Health Fund and the Community Children’s Services Fund. Tax dollars are granted to non-profit organizations that provide high quality services that benefit City residents.

Jessica Meyers

Prevention Partnership Director

Jessica joined MHB as the project director for the Violence Prevention Commission (VPC) in 2018. Prior to her work at VPC, she did direct services with victims of violence, predominantly homicide victims’ families, for 14 years at Crime Victim Center. Jessica holds a Master of Public Administration from Saint Louis University. Her research areas include police legitimacy, community cooperation with law enforcement investigations, and hate/bias crimes.
