Brian K Phillips, a St. Louis native, is the Executive Director and Assistant Vice Chancellor of the Washington University Medical Center Redevelopment Corporation, a partnership between BJC HealthCare and Washington University dedicated to the stabilization and revitalizations of communities surrounding the campus. An Urban Planner by training, Brian has dedicated over 30 years working in community and economic development in various roles in St. Louis city. He as a strong passion for ensuring access to affordable and safe housing. Brian has been active in a number of local nonprofits including currently board membership on Park Central Development, Great Rivers Greenway, and the Euclid South Community Improvement District. He was formerly active on the boards of Rebuilding Together St. Louis, the Biome STEAM Charter School, Forest Park Southeast Housing Corporation and a host of other volunteer services.
